Brad Cardello, Intern

Hi there, I’m Brad! I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2024, and quickly fell in love with this
beautifully diverse place. In my free time, I enjoy connecting with loved ones, making music,
exploring, photography, video games, basketball, and playing with my dog and two cats. My
loved ones have described me as being caring, curious, and patient — those are just a few
ways I’ll strive to create a safe space in therapy where you feel heard, accepted, and trusted.

Meet Brad Cardello, Intern

As a counselor, I’m passionate about offering a safe space for teens & adults, with a special place in my heart for LGBTQIA+ affirmative care. Some of my areas of focus include supporting people with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and discrimination- based stress. I’d be honored to be a part of your journey and help you live a more fulfilling life!
Approach and Education
My approach to counseling is person-centered, strengths-based, inclusive, and authentic. We’ll explore what’s helped you in the past, as well as some treatments that have helped other people. Some evidence-based treatments I bring into sessions include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but we’ll work together to find the approach that best fits you. As far as my experience and education goes, I’ve worked in mental health settings since 2016 as a behavioral specialist and mental health program manager, and I’m currently in my final year of Palo Alto University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program. I hope to learn from you, too!

“Just because no one else can health or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should or need to do it alone.”
