Meet Lindsey Justice, Intern

Hi, I’m Lindsey!  I’m a PNW native, but have lived all over the United States and even a few other countries, which has given me some amazing experiences and a unique worldview!  I’m a mom of two, and dog mom to a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Kai.  When I’m not working or doing school things, I love reading, kayaking, growing succulents, spending time with my family and friends, spinning yarn, and knitting- I think crafting is an awesome form of self care!

In 2009, I truly feel like EMDR saved my life.  After that experience, I decided that someday I wanted to become a therapist so I could provide that kind of care to other people experiencing PTSD and other issues.  In 2023, I graduated from Washington State University with my bachelors degree in psychology, and I will be graduating with my masters in social work from Louisiana State University in August of 2027!

“Even in the darkest moments, light exists if you have faith to see it.”

My Approach

I strive to be a compassionate and trauma-informed therapist who believes in the inherent worth, joy, and resilience of every person I meet. With a background in psychology, I bring both academic knowledge and real-life experience into the therapy space. My work is also shaped by 19 years as a military spouse, which has given me a deep understanding of transition, uncertainty, resilience, and the complexities of identity and relationships. I bring that perspective into my work with clients facing life changes, stress, and relationship challenges.  My approach is grounded, empathetic, strength based, and collaborative- I want to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
