Meet Megan Schutts, Intern

I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelor’s in Social Work and have spent most of my career working in human services. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work degree through Grand Canyon University Online, with the goal of becoming a licensed therapist. I’m passionate about helping others, supporting clients in reaching their goals, and fostering positive change.

“Even in the darkest moments, light exists if you have faith to see it.”

— Dean Koontz

My Approach

In my work, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), EMDR, and person-centered approaches, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs and strengths of my clients. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my cat, Olive, a five-year-old gray tabby who always keeps me company.
